An awesome "date" with my mom today...
Well today I had a "date" with my mom. We went to a Holiday Open House at one of our favorite stores in Northville, MI. It is called GardenViews and it is just filled to the brim with home decorating accents. It is an old gas station (I think) that is just gorgeous! It smelled so good and they had Christmas music playing and hourly drawings (that I desperately wanted to win...NO luck!). It was just such a fun and relaxing day with me and my mom. My wonderful hubby kept the kids so I could go and relax. I was like a kid in a candy store. It is amazing how much more you notice when you aren't toting 2 toddlers along with you. LOL. Amazing day!!!!

I love spending time with my mom and doing mom/daughter stuff. I am glad you got to do this - sounds like a blast to me!!!

My Mom lives next door to me so we spend a lot of time together. She is also a crafter (who do you think taught me). We have a great time together.Glad you and your mom do the same
