One more day....

Well all...tomorrow is Christmas Eve. Yay!!!!! The "babies" are 3 and 4 yrs old this Christmas and it is such a fun age. They are so excited. They actually "get it" this year. I asked for help on the Cricut MB on how to create a bow for a present for my father in law. I don't remember who it was, but she gave me a link to a "how to" video on You Tube. Well here is the finished product!

I know these cards are a little off season (lol), but

I didn't get a chance to post them before. I took a dry embossing class at my LSS and made these cards. It was lots of fun!

Here are my first attempts at Christmas cards...

They don't compare to the cards I have seen on the Cricut MB, but I am still learning!

I found a new way to store my wooden stamps...

Well, I needed a good solution to "display" my mounted wooden stamps. Previously they were thrown in a jet max cube drawer. This didn't work to well for me. I didn't know what I had and I never used them, you know the saying..."outta sight, outta mind!"? It's true. I got these little wooden shelves at IKEA. They were in the office dept. I am not sure of the name of them, but if you want to know, I am sure I could do some research and find out. Anyway...they work PERFECT!!!!

This is a wooden swing that I made for someone...

This is a wooden swing I made for a lady that my husband works with. She wanted a swing for when her granddaughter came over!

I have a question for all you stay at home moms...

Does it feel like you can never "get ahead"? I am CONSTANTLY cleaning and doing laundry and yet, I never feel like I can get ahead of things. For instance, I will clean the house until it is all sparkly, then an hour later, it can look like a tornado went through it. Does anyone have any good tips for me? I could sure use them. My house isnt big, but its cozy and I love it. ALL my neighbors are amazing. Sure, we could use a bigger house but, then I think, "More to clean!".

Is it just me or...

Is the cricut website down??? I have tried to log on twice with NO success! hmmmm

I have 19, yes, NINETEEN followers!

You guys have no idea how you made my day seeing that 19 people are following my little blog! These days everyone is so busy, and so, with that, I thank you for "stopping by". I will try to deliver, and make a blog worthy of your valuable time.

Here is a small ribbon holder I made...

It doesn't hold tons of ribbon, but it is quick and easy to take with you.

Sorry Its been so long....

Hi all,

I am sorry I haven't been here in a while. It has been absolutely crazy here at my house. The girls, yes, ALL 3 of them were sick for about 3 weeks. I took my christmas picture today. Boy, they are growing fast.....

An awesome "date" with my mom today...

Well today I had a "date" with my mom. We went to a Holiday Open House at one of our favorite stores in Northville, MI. It is called GardenViews and it is just filled to the brim with home decorating accents. It is an old gas station (I think) that is just gorgeous! It smelled so good and they had Christmas music playing and hourly drawings (that I desperately wanted to win...NO luck!). It was just such a fun and relaxing day with me and my mom. My wonderful hubby kept the kids so I could go and relax. I was like a kid in a candy store. It is amazing how much more you notice when you aren't toting 2 toddlers along with you. LOL. Amazing day!!!!

Well, its that time of year again...

When my three girls love to watch, Elf (with Will Ferrell) over and over and over again. Good thing this is one of my favorite movies too!

Here are the party favors I did for Maddies (11th) and Emma's (3rd) birthday///

They had a halloween themed party. The favors had little chocolate bars in them (for the kids and the men, LOL), and for the women they had tea bags in them.

My scrap space...

Really...its my walk in closet in my bedroom. It's not that big, but ya know what??? It's mine! Hope you like it. Thanks for looking.
